iOS Developer or iOS Engineer

I've been thinking about the line between being called an 'iOS Developer' and an 'iOS Engineer.' Developers are usually the ones focused on coding — Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit. Engineers take on more: architecture, performance, testing, CI/CD. Companies use the titles interchangeably, but the scope is genuinely different.

My goal is to grow into an iOS Engineer role within the next 6-12 months, whether that means going remote or relocating to Western Europe.
