SWIFTDIGEST / PRIVACY
SwiftDigest Privacy Policy
Effective date:
SwiftDigest is designed to keep your reading activity private. Article processing, including summarization, categorization, personalization, search, and digest generation, runs on your device.
This policy applies to the SwiftDigest iOS app.
Data Collection
SwiftDigest does not collect personal data, reading history, search queries, bookmarks, diagnostics, or analytics. The app does not include advertising, analytics, or third-party tracking SDKs.
Data Stored on Your Device
The app stores downloaded article data, summaries, bookmarks, preferences, and reading activity locally on your device. This information is used only to provide app features such as personalized digests and search. Deleting the app removes this locally stored data, subject to the behavior of your device backups.
Network Access and Third-Party Content
SwiftDigest connects directly to third-party publishers to download RSS or Atom feeds and to open original articles. Those publishers may receive standard network information, such as your IP address and browser or device request information, under their own privacy policies. SwiftDigest does not control those publishers or their websites.
Notifications and Background Refresh
If you grant permission, SwiftDigest schedules local notifications and uses background refresh to prepare your digest. Notification preferences and processing remain on your device.
Children
SwiftDigest is not directed to children and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone.
Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated when the app's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when changes are published.
